MUSIC: DANCE  GAVIN DANCE (WHEN IT STILL HAD JONNY)
MOOD: GOOD

Okay so now I've had all new thingies from Jul. 22's post, except for the lacey top/bralette thing (which I still have adjust because it's a size L) and the leopard wedges. Have a close up of the top I'm wearing in the above picture:

I got it to make up for that awesome shirt Zara once had that I missed out on, it was red and black and really big (I probably would have drowned in it) but really pretty, too. Prettier than this one from Bershka to be honest, but hey, I only paid €5,99. And I love the fit, especially the sleeves! Very flattering, though I'm still trying to figure out what to wear this with, as this outfit is a bit, idk, boring? Bland? I don't like to dress all black. Nor do I like wearing big necklaces (they just bash onto everything haha).

I got some strawberries at yesterday's "European" market, so I decided to make me some proper dessert. It was gone in no time, seriously. Ice cream and whipped cream = Instant munchies. Whenever I'm putting whipped cream on something, I get oh, so very tempted to eat it straight out of the bottle, haha.

And now I'm hungry again, haha.

H&M - €19,90

Gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme! Gaahh I've gone up and down 5 H&Ms a few times now and I can't find this dress for the life of me! Also I highly doubt it'll fit me properly because the elastic bit is so low and my natural waist is way higher... That and being a 5'2" dwarf doesn't help either. But dammit I'd like to at least try it on, who knows it might look awesome anyway. The sleeves, the dots, the buttons, the apparent fact it's got pockets!!!1!1

Have you spotted the dress of my dreams?

MOOD: SLEEPY

Yet another outfit photo, super yay! I wore this when it was still hot outside, today it was rather chilly so I threw on some pants instead of the skirt and my denim jacket, which wasn't enough to spend the afternoon at the river side with Schweppes peach instead of the usual sangria because I felt a bit queazy in the stomach haha.

Also had noodles, explored the "European Market" (which, ironically, had an Indonesian food stand, yay geography) where I saw the most delicious looking candy I had ever seen. So, British readers, is your candy really that good? Because I really do feel like going back tomorrow and eat until I get a tooth ache!

In other news, I really can't stop listening to Deez Nuts: A combination of hardcore and rap. Yeah, rap.

Deez Nuts - Stay True

Very much out of my usual genre, I know, but this song is just super catchy haha.

Okay that's pretty much all I had to say for now, I think I'll just hit the shower, enjoy an episode of Criminal Minds and sleep. Tomorrow might possibly be a long day of cleaning the house. Bummer.

PS: Thank you to all readers, and especially those who take the time to comment, it's nice to know people are actually enjoying the stuff I throw online! n__n

MOOD: ALRIGHT,  YET SLIGHTLY FULL FROM THE RAVIOLI I JUST HAD

Look at that, already making up for the lack of postage in the past two weeks! Why yes, back for a second time today! With one of the outfit pics I promised in this morning's (okay I guess it must have been like a bit past 1 PM, but whatever that's basically still morning for me) post.

So this jumper is pretty much a dress, which is what made me doubt about buying it at first. The price tag was ripped off, and in my head I was thinking about how much I was willing to pay for it. As it is actually a size too big (but it's massive anyway so it makes little to no difference) and I never really wear dresses in winter time, I came to the conclusion I was going to pay a max of €15.

Hey it was dumped in the sales stack. I don't shop during the sales (read: getting pushed and beaten by grouchy old women) to pay too much for a sweater no one else is going to buy.

Victory was mine when the cashier told me it was €9,99. Bless you, Zara. Bless you.

MOOD: ALRIGHT

I've been a bad blogger, I know. I don't know how I managed to neglect my blog for two weeks straight, I probably got distracted watching Family Guy, and Canadian productions on this low budget tv channel Flanders has.

Other than doing those things, I also enjoyed spending time with friends, editing a shitload of photos and roaming the high street. Yay.
Product of the latter activity to be viewed below:

Polar bear jumper, €9,99 - Zara
Cosmic print wide fit t-shirt, €5,99 - Bershka
Silky polka dotted tank, €4,80 - New Look
Bralette, €1 - H&M
Leopard print wedges, €9,90(!!) - H&M
Low lace up wedges, €12 - New Look

Not too bad huh? Everything was in sale, except for the leopard print wedges, which a lot may find extremely repulsive but I for one love them so much, I actually put them on immediately after buying them. I don't know I think they look pretty bad ass with black skinnies, my favourite white tank top and my red bag which has been on my shoulder non stop for the past few weeks. (And is slowly ripping to pieces, alas.)

Expect outfit pics to come soon!

MOOD: GUUD

Vacation is awesome. Here some pictures to sum up how it has been so far:

Spotting birds when sitting on a bench with two friends, a balloon and a bottle of good ol' sangria.

Watching Family Guy on my laptop with the window open and the fan blowing.

And cooking! Whenever everyone's out of the house, I like to take over the kitchen and release my inner hausfrau, haha. These are noodles, Thai veggies, sweet-and-sour sauce and bits of Mexican flavoured pork. (EDIT: HAHA I just realised this seems like "pork that tastes like Mexicans", I'm so sorry, I meant to say they used Mexican spices for this) I actually ate this three times in two days because I made way too much. I should throw dinner parties.

All this whilst listening to that magnificent self-titled album by Emarosa. Currently my favourite track:

Emarosa - Live It. Love It. Lust It.

I've been roaming the shops, since sales started the first this month, but I'm kind of having trouble finding things I like. The only store that seems to cater my needs at the moment is New Look, but even there I try on a dozen of things and end up buying nothing but a hair band. But a cute one!

The necklace is new as well, I don't mean to jump on the owl-hyping bandwagon but dammit you guys, those hipsters keep stealing my interests! If they ever touch anchors, hummingbirds or swans I will shmack them one by one. The bralette is from H&M (as well as the necklace) and was in sale for €3. I had been eyeing it for a while, to wear under low cut tops, so I was quite pleased to find it in sale.

Other than that, I have nothing more to say than OMFG YOU GUYS VACAY IS AWESOME.
Enjoy it <3

MOOD: PRETTY NEUTRAL

I hate Sundays. With my best friend on holiday, I'm kind of bored. I was supposed to hang out with a friend today but shit happened and well, here I am haha.

So, it's still friggin' hot outside, too hot for my beloved maxi dresses and skirt even. This is one of my favourite dresses at the moment:

Quite a boring outfit, but it really is too hot to bother. Those shoes actually hurt like hell (the toes, the poor toes!) but they're too pretty not to wear. I bought them a few years ago at Deichmann, this German shoe store.
The dress is from New Look, I got it last year in sale for €7. I guess people weren't really big on florals back then haha.

As you might be able to tell from the picture, I'm still struggling with my hair. Every little breeze blows it back into a side parting so sometimes when I'm out I actually have to hold my fringe in place haha!

Oh and FIY, I didn't go to Rheinkultur because of the fucked up weather situation. The weather forecast predicted 36°C with rain. Erm. Wtf? That's the worst of two worlds? I'm a bit prone to heatstrokes so when temperatures reach 30°C, I have to lie down inside and drink lots of water, haha.
I'm a bit sad for missing out on Alexisonfire but then again, looking at some videos, the atmosphere was quite lame (when people are able to take pictures front row in a post-hardcore concert, there's something wrong) and they pretty much only played tracks of their latest album. Boo!

Oh well, here's to Summerfest, July 31, yay The Ghost of a Thousand!

The Ghost of a Thousand - Bright Lights

And now I'm off to watch a double episode of CSI New York. Oh joy!
