Apr 21: Random.

MUSIC: GLASSJAW
MOOD: EXCITED

Two more days until Groezrock, a punk/hardcore festival. I'm only really going for Glassjaw, so let's just hope they'll get through the stupid volcano ash.

Also, I've come to terms with the fact I'm probably going to fail this year. I slacked too much, didn't meet deadlines, skipped lessons etc etc etc. Oh well. No drama.

And, random images ftw!

Alcohol induces deep, philosophical conversations about life and reality.
Obviously.

Or, semi-artistic shots with deep, deep meanings. Life and death, you know.
That shit.

Yes, I painted a paper boat hahaha.

And last but not least, I tidied my room. A bit.

Yippee! More meaningful updates coming soon (hopefully)!

MOOD: GOOD

My ASOS top arrived in the mail today!

I'm used to H&M quality so when I unpacked this I was pleasantly surprised, really. The fabric is very firm yet nice to wear and besides the elastic on top, which is a bit loose (I'm not exactly well endowed in the  bosom area haha), it fits me perfectly. For those who would like to order it yourself, I got a size 10.

MOOD: BLEH

This always happens during breaks from school. I get bored, I have too much time to think about things and once I get around the whole school subject, I fear, once again, that I'm just not good enough to cut it. I know a lot of people think what I make is pretty, but my teachers just don't think it's sufficient. I agree with them.
I don't think I'll ever get past making things that are "nice" or "pretty". I don't think I'll ever be motivated enough to even try and take things to a whole other level.

I've been doing a few career tests and unfortunately, they all say the same thing.

"You are an Architect, possible professions include - strategic planning, writer, staff development, lawyer, architect, software designer, financial analyst, college professor, photographer, logician, artist, systems analyst, neurologist, physicist, psychologist, research/development specialist, computer programmer, data base manager, chemist, biologist, investigator."

It's quite accurate really, I've always loved writing (a lot of grade school teachers have told me that if I'd ever write a book they'd be the first to read it haha), my mother always says I should go into law, I've thought about teaching (I'm too impatient with kids though), as well as photography and psychology.
Actually, I'd study psychology if I wasn't so messed up myself (that, and statistics and research and shit's just not for me haha.)

Frankly, I just want to do whatever the hell I want. Besides law, my mom says I should work for a traveling agency because I'm good with languages and love to travel altogether. I know for sure I'm not going to make it to next year so maybe I should look into that.
Oh how I hate all this early adulthood drama. I wish I could just see the light for once and for all so I wouldn't feel like I'm wasting valuable time.

Quick little order at ASOS, thanks to some lost pounds that were left on my paypal account.

I've been searching for the perfect flower-print top for a lifetime, and I have found lots of potential at New Look but every time I tried the damn things on, there was something about the fit that was just off. (A common problem I have at New Look is lack of boob space. I'm not that voluptuous so I have no frikkin' idea what is going on with their sizing - but whatever.)

I hope this one fits me better.

Oh and, I have to add. Every time I see that model on ASOS, I think of Thandie Newton:

They're both incredibly pretty.

... Keeps angry teachers away.

I made a promise to myself I'd do at least one drawing each day during Easter break. Or two drawings one day and none the next (I have 0 discipline, seriously).
It's coming along just fine, these are the high lights so far.

I need to practice my skills you see.

I love you, Easter break. Even though I have a million things I should be doing for school, I'm totally enjoying sleeping in and doing nothing at all.

Tomorrow will be fully dedicated to school, I promise.
(Lolz.)

Anyway, I bought this beautiful blouse at H&M yesterday. Really, I'm in love.

And for those who have been wondering: No, my house doesn't have crazy ass walls, they're all my bedroom wall which you can see in the pictures above. It's part of the photoshop magic.
